Defence Contracts Online, the official source of UK MOD contracts, was at DSEI to show off our newly redesigned website and to talk with attendees about DCO, DCI, Cyber Essentials and DPRTE 2018.

DSEI attracted more than 1,500 exhibitors and over 30,000 visitors and can be considered a great success, exceeding many prior expectations. Many of those visitors came to visit the DCO team at our stand, including the Under Secretary of State for Defence Procurement Harriett Baldwin, who visited the stand to chat with the team and to endorse the newly redesigned DCO website and supplier portal.

Harriett Baldwin was happy to endorse the relaunch of the site saying:

Welcome to our new Supplier Portal. It brings a wide range of supplier-focused information, including current and future opportunities and support to innovation, together in one place.

Over the next decade we are committed to spending over £178 bn on equipment and support, with the MOD accounting for over 40% of all government spend with industry. We want to encourage innovation and make it easier for new and smaller businesses to identify, compete for and win opportunities with the MOD. This will help us to deliver our vision of a vibrant, sustainable and competitive UK industrial base.”

Those that came to the DCO stand will have found information about not only DCO but also Defence Contracts International (DCI), Cyber Essentials and the upcoming DPRTE 2018.
